1. Information Collected or Accessed

Road Mark Dashcam may access or create the following information on the device to provide app features.

• Camera video: Used to record driving videos as MP4 files.
• Microphone audio: Used to record surrounding sound or voice together with driving videos when the user enables audio recording.
• Location information: Used for video HUD, GPS logs, clip locations, and address display.
• Video, audio-included video, and clip files: Files recorded or extracted by the user.
• GPS logs and zoom event information: Used for video playback, clip extraction, and location confirmation features.
• App settings information: Used to store app settings such as recording quality, audio recording preference, storage limit, language, and HUD display options.
• Advertising-related information: The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, app interaction information, and diagnostic information for ad delivery, ad measurement, and fraud prevention.

Road Mark Dashcam does not require sign-up or login.

2. Purpose of Use

Road Mark Dashcam uses the above information only for the following purposes.

• Recording and storing driving videos
• Recording and storing microphone audio with videos when selected by the user
• Providing a HUD that displays time and GPS information on videos
• Displaying GPS logs, locations, and address information
• Recording zoom events and extracting event-based clips
• Managing original videos and extracted clips
• Deleting, sharing, and exporting videos to the gallery
• Managing storage limits and cleaning up old videos
• Saving app settings
• Displaying ads, measuring ad performance, and preventing ad fraud

3. On-Device Storage

Driving videos, audio included in videos, extracted clips, GPS logs, zoom events, and app settings are stored by default on the user's device.

The developer does not upload the user's driving videos, audio, GPS logs, or extracted clips to servers operated by the developer.

Users can delete stored videos and clips within the app. If the app is deleted, local app data may also be removed from the device. However, files exported to the gallery or shared with other apps may be stored separately according to the policies of the destination location or app.

4. Sharing of Information

Road Mark Dashcam does not directly sell or provide users' driving videos, audio, or location logs to third parties.

However, information may be transferred to external apps or services in the following cases.

• When the user directly uses the video sharing feature
• When the user directly uses the gallery export feature
• When the user selects an external app such as a map app, playback app, or sharing target app
• When the Google Mobile Ads SDK sends advertising-related data to Google to provide ads

5. Permissions

Road Mark Dashcam may use the following Android permissions.

• Camera permission: Used to record driving videos.
• Microphone permission: Used to record sound together with videos when the user enables audio recording.
• Location permission: Used for GPS HUD, GPS logs, clip locations, and address display.
• Notification permission: Used to display a foreground service notification during recording.
• Display over other apps permission: Used to display zoom controls while recording when the app is in the background.
• Internet and network state permissions: May be used for network features such as ad display and address information lookup.

The microphone permission is used only for the audio recording feature. If the user does not grant microphone permission or disables audio recording, videos are recorded without sound.

The display over other apps permission is used only to display the background zoom button. Basic recording features can be used without granting this permission, but the background zoom button feature will be limited.

6. Advertising and Advertising ID

Road Mark Dashcam may use Google AdMob ads.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect or share the following information for ad delivery, ad performance measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention.

• IP address
• Device or other identifiers such as the Android advertising ID
• App interaction information such as app launches, taps, and ad impressions
• Diagnostic information related to app and SDK performance
• Approximate location information inferred from the IP address

Users can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Videos, audio included in videos, clips, GPS logs, and app settings created by the app are stored on the user's device and may be retained until the user deletes them or the app's storage cleanup feature deletes old files.

Users can delete videos and clips through the delete feature in the app. If the app is uninstalled, data in the app's internal storage may also be deleted.

Road Mark Dashcam does not provide separate user accounts, so it does not provide an account deletion procedure.

8. Children's Privacy

Road Mark Dashcam is not an app directed to children.

9. Security

Road Mark Dashcam stores users' videos, audio, location logs, and settings by default on the device. When communicating with external services such as advertising SDKs, data is transmitted according to the security methods of the SDK provider.

Data transmitted through the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit according to Google's policies and SDK behavior.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be revised due to changes in app features, laws, regulations, or policies.
